Known as the most prominent Korean artist group for its stylish, powerful, yet feminine music and performance style, and widely worshiped by music lovers and fashionistas both locally and internationally, 2NE1 has evolved and exerted their influences as a leader and representative of K-pop music, fashion and culture in the global music scene. 2ne1 increasing popularity seems to know no bounds, and as they make moves all over the world proving to the whole world they are fit to be called the BEST of Kpop. 2ne1 won tremendous awards internationally like MTV Iggy's Best Band in the World. 2ne1 perhaps the most impressive kpop girl group there is. 2ne1 doesn't bank on their looks or aegyo like the other kpop girl group does. They are fierce and they totally changed the game for the girl groups in South Korea. The thing that makes them so special is that they do everything so differently than other kpop groups. They don't try to be something they are not and they do everything with such power and they are so Fierce.

2ne1 got their names put up with other hugely popular stars like Ariana Grande and Beyonce for this year's Youtube Music Awards. 2ne1 gathered flocks of fans flooding to their channel and subscribing for the latest updates. 2ne1 is very unique compared to other kpop girl bands. this shows from their fashion style and music genres. they range in many different types of genres. When they perform live it is always explosive. They are not lip singing like other girl groups.

Rather that hit the ground running with an English language single, 2ne1 brought their Korean hits to U.S. grounds. Each opportunity showcased CL, Minzy, Dara and Bom in their signature looks. 2ne1,s Crush album debuted at No. 61 on the Billboard 200, marking the highest-charting Korean album in America ever during its first week of release, and in only four days of sales the album sales stand at 10,000 copies sold.

DARA, THE GODDESS

Last but not the least, I will introduce to you the face of 2ne1, the ever gorgeous and beautiful Sandara Park or popularly known as Dara.

Dara's vocals as a member of 2NE1 is just one of the many things her fans have come to love. She has won fans of all ages due to her sweet personality and undeniable charm. Dara actively engages in communication with her fans so often that she has become known as the unofficial "Promotion Manager" of 2ne1. Her beauty and youthful image has made her a casting favorite in commercials.

Dara is known to be a goddess because of her beauty. She always won on surveys of different magazines and stations as the no.1 most beautiful Korean face. She always ranks no.1 on every show that showcases beauty including no.1 most beautiful k-pop girl group member, no.1 most beautiful Korean women, the most beautiful face among the girl groups and also ranked as Top Ten Most Beautiful Women in the World. Many had admired her beauty not just in Korea but all over the world.

Why is she ranked as the most beautiful face in Korea?

Because she's not just beautiful on the outside but also in the inside. Her beauty is just unexplainable she's like a goddess, an angel she's at her 30's but her age is nothing compared to her baby face, she is ageless. She is simple. Simplicity describes real beauty. She is just a goddess no need to wear any kind of make up just to look beautiful. She have this image of a fresh girl. A gorgeous face with or without make up, her image fits all image whether its hip hop, sexy or innocent. 

"A Goddess" that's how many call her. A goddess that never age. Her natural beauty never age. She's lovely without trying to. She's a natural beauty that will surely make your head turn. She has the aura, a glow that lightens up your day. She's just the sweetest and the most caring korean idol. Despite the success and fame she has now, she doesn't forget her fans, the people who support her. Such a gorgeous and beautiful person inside and out.

No doubt she is called goddess, she has a beautiful face, ageless beauty and most especially a good heart, very humble and down to earth. A person that showcases beauty not just on the outside but especially in the inside. 

MINZY, THE DANCING MACHINE

I will introduce now the youngest of the group Gong Min Ji, which is also known as the dancing machine.

The youngest member of 2ne1, it was Minzy's excellent dancing ability that caused YG President, to personally recruit her after seeing a video of a then-elementary school aged Minzy dancing on the internet. Using her time as a YG trainee since those early elementary school days, Minzy has refined her dancing, rapping and singing skills to become a world class star.

Gong Min Ji was discovered by YG Entertainment. A video of her at a dance competition got uploaded into the internet, and got many hits and praises for her ability to dance. This video has been uploaded onto YG's homepage, whereupon Yang Hyun Suk the president of YG Entertainment himself contacted and recruited her to join the agency. Minzy moved from Gwangju to Seoul to start her training in 2005, and trained for about 5 years before she was placed into girl group 2ne1 along with three other members. 2ne1 debuted in 2009 with their hit single "Fire". During her training years and early debut days, Minzy earned attention for being the grandniece of South Korea's legendary dancer, Gong Ok Jin.

2ne1's maknae Minzy is known to take the stage by storm with her dance skills. Whenever she performs people got amazed by how she dance. She is undeniably a dancing machine and she proves it everytime she performs on stage.

Bom's Journey

After introducing to you the leader of the group, next in line is the groups main vocal Park Bom, and her journey to success in following her passion.

Park Bom born on March 24, 1984. She was born on Seoul, South Korea and later moved to the United States where she learned English. In 6th grade, she left Korea by herself to study abroad in the United States. As a high school student she acquired admiration for music through Mariah Carey. After graduating high school she enrolled in Lesley University major in Psychology but she suddenly felt the urge to pursue her passion in singing. She wanted to pursue singing as a career however, her parents didn't allow her to do so. With encouragement from her aunt, she secretly transferred to Berklee College of Music to pursue her music career.

After living in America for almost 14 years, she came back to South Korea and then auditioned to YG Entertainment. She didn't make it for her first try but she'd come back every year to try again and then for the third time, she finally got in and passed as a trainee.

In 2009, she finally made her debut but not as a solo, instead she became part of YG Entertainment's new girl group, 2ne1. After a few months of debut, in November 2009 she released a solo song "You and I", which surprised the public by achieving an all-kill in music charts despite being a rookie. Due to its major success, the single won various achievements such as No.1 song of the month and 2010 Best Digital Single. In 2011, Park Bom was the head runner for 2ne1's comeback where she released her second solo single, "Don't Cry". Her solo single yet again, topped various music charts and later on, achieved a certified Perfect All-Kill Status. And every song that 2ne1 released became top of charts and the talk of the town. Such is a testimony of how great the group 2ne1 has become.

More than just the main vocalist of 2ne1, Park Bom's unique voice has allowed her to shine on her efforts as a solo singer. Both of her singles have garnered success without the benefit of any active promotions or television appearances. Her strong passion for music led her to quit school without her parents approval so she could follow her dreams of singing. Years later, even as an established singer, she brings same passion to every song she sings.

CL, THE BADDEST FEMALE

Now, I will introduce to you the members one by one. The members of the group consist of CL, the leader, Bom, the main vocal, Dara, the fresh vocal, and Minzy the maknae. I will start first with the leader.. CL.

Lee Chae-rin, better known for her stage name CL, was born on February 26, 1991. She was born on Seoul, South Korea but spent much of her early life in Japan and France. CL, the team leader of 2ne1, is the epitome of a perfect entertainer. She is a versatile rapper, vocalist, dancer and musical performer. Her charisma on stage is what sets her apart from other artists. Beyond her musical talents, she is fluent in 4 languages including Korean, English, French and Japanese. CL is a symbol of WOMAN POWER. She leads the fashion trend as a fashion icon who inspires world renown designers like Jeremy Scott and Castel Bajac.

Why CL called the baddest female?

CL is the charismatic and fierce leader of K-pop girl group 2ne1. She is a force to reckon with on her own. Shes got the right attitude, strong presence and skills worthy to be called "The Baddest Female". She is on TIME magazine's Top 100 most influential people. You heard that right, 2ne1's baddest female made it to TIME MAGAZINES most influential people. She is one of the best female k-pop artists. Even as a solo artist, she was able to top Korean and international charts. She is a multi-lingual. Aside form Hangul, she knows how to speak French, Japanese and English. 

Another reason she is called baddest female is because she rocks even the craziest outfits! 2ne1 has been known for their crazy ensemble outfits. She is a leader and total performer. She always looks after her members. But when she performs on stage she is on total beast mode, nobody can stop her. She knows how to sway the crowd with her energy. She writes and composes songs. CL likes to compose song on her free time. She wrote her own rap in some of their songs. Teddy Park even mentioned that she wrote 20 songs but only 3 have been included in Crush album of 2ne1. And lastly, she is making noise in the international music scene! Currently CL is busy with her solo activities in the U.S. She has signed up as a solo artist but that doesn't mean shes leaving 2ne1. She has performed alongside Diplo and was able to establish her presence during her first U.S performance in Ultra Music Festival that she trended on twitter. She has been praised by Will.i.am, Diplo and Swizz beats.

No one could question why she got the title of baddest female. She's an awesome performer on stage. She got a strong presence and charisma on stage, she has an attitude  that when she performs no one could take their eyes off her. Everyone got amused by how amazing the leader of 2ne1 is. No doubt she's the leader.
